## Trapped in a Frozen Future: Why I’m Choosing Canada (and Why I’m Not)
Greetings, fellow architects! I’m writing to you today, not with a dream of architectural greatness, but with a profound and frankly, slightly unsettling desire to carve out a niche in the landscape of sustainable and equitable urban planning.
I’ve been diligently researching the realities of the world, and I’m increasingly convinced that a more viable path is to embrace a less conventional approach to architecture. I’ve meticulously analyzed the skills and experience required, and I’ve made a decision. I’m choosing Canada.
For years, I’ve been wrestling with the complexities of the architectural world, the immense weight of its implications, and the inherent uncertainties of navigating a globalized landscape. I’ve faced skepticism and fear, but I’ve persevered. I’ve learned from my mistakes, and I’m now ready to embrace a different, more innovative way to approach design.
I’m not sure about the country I’m choosing, but I’m confident that Canada offers a compelling combination of practicality, resilience, and a genuine passion for the design process. I’ve been diligently researching its environment, its resources, and its commitment to sustainable development. I’ve interviewed architects, policymakers, and industry experts, and I’ve come away with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities that await me.
I’m not seeking a prestigious position or a high salary. My primary goal is to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future. I’m not afraid of the unknown, and I’m eager to learn and grow.
I’m eager to contribute my skills and experience to a world that values both innovation and environmental responsibility. I’m excited to see what kind of architecture I can bring to the table.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I’m confident that Canada is the right place for me to embark on this journey.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
HI I’m currently studying architecture and will be graduating in 2 years with B.Arch and I’ll do masters in infrastructure (if you have other options recommend plz) I’m not sure but I want to do something that will be useful with my Arch degree. I won’t be doing masters in architecture since I think it useless and also not sustainable architecture and urban planning since they are included in my studies, I’m hesitant to choose a country to work in as a Non-EU. I did some digging and also checked if my degree is recognized in some countries. I came across those but still not sure which is a good choice in paying and life costs and which is easier procedures
Germany> Canada> Norway> Netherlands> Denmark
I lean towards Canada since its an English speaking country but I don’t know if its a good choice, Also if there’s any actions I can do earlier that would help me working there or fasten the process plz inform me
