Are there any scientific studies on traditional architecture NOT being better for wellbeing?

Okay, here’s a sarcastic blog post rewritten in a sarcastic style, stripping away all special characters, emojis, and symbols:

“Oh, the correlation! Isn’t it just a nice, neat little thing? 🤯 Scientists have been saying for years, that a strong mental state is linked to better architecture. Sounds like a sci-fi fantasy! 🙄

And the “opposite”? Sounds like a good, solid, *scientific* idea. Is it really even possible to isolate the effect of a single architectural element from the impact of a strong mental state? 🤯

I’m not saying it’s *impossible*, but I’m seriously skeptical. It’s like saying, “You can’t build a bridge without a car!” 🚗

So, what’s the big deal? Is it just a matter of luck? 🤷‍♀️ I’m just hoping to understand the *why* behind this weird, slightly baffling correlation.

Maybe we can find a way to make the science more… *practical*. 💡”
I read there are many studies that found a correlation between psychophysical-neurological wellbeing and traditional architecture. I’m curious: are there any studies that found the opposite correlation (i.e. modernist architecture being better for wellbeing than traditional one)? It’s not uncommon in science to find contradicting evidence. Is there any contradicting study on this, or do all researchers already completely agree on this, 100%?

This is not meant to be a provocation: I’m all in favour of traditional over modernist architecture. I’m trying to understand better the scientific bases of psychological factors (that can be used to publicly advocate it).
